Linden Letter endorses Artie Crocker

NEEDHAM, MA - I did not want to do this. 

There are two impressive candidates for the Planning Board, and one, who I know nothing about.  I did not want to make the choice.  At least, not in public.  I knew who I was voting for.  But I wanted to work with Oscar in the future.  However, too many people have been coming out to announce their support one way or the other.  I didn't want to be a coward about it.

Also, Artie's statements on the Needham Housing Authority need to be acknowledged.

I asked a neighbor if she was voting.  And she said, "Why?"

I said, "It might make a difference. There's a three way race.  Artie Crocker is running for Planning against an excellent candidate, who is an architect and housing activist, plus another guy.

Her reply was, "Okay, I'll vote."

"Who for?" said I.

"Artie, of course."
